TABLET, NOOOOO

I think my tablet's dying.

It's a graphire3 that I've had for at least 4-5 years, so I'm not that surprised given how much use it's had and how much moving I've done. But STILL.

I'm not completely sure if it's dying or if this is just temporary, but it doesn't always respond to my pen movements and sometimes just does whatever the hell it wants. It just started like five minutes ago, so maybe this is a fluke. I'm going to try reinstalling the drivers or something to see if that works. If anyone else has any other ideas, please tell me :D!

NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE THIS SAD ABOUT IT :C

EDIT: It seems to be working again. I'm not complaining :D

Just buy a cheaper, yet more advanced tablet. It's been 5 years. Technology has advanced and prices have dropped. Don't let a silly tablet malfunction stand in the way of you and your awesome anime!

Either get an Intuos, Bamboo if you're really fucking short on money, or put in the extra few hundred and get a 12WX.

is your pen nib wearing out ( tip of pen sylus)? if so you might want to buy a new one. i had same problem my pen jitters and sometimes doesnt move when i want it to.

I don't think so! I have a whole pack of nibs, and replacing the tip is one of the first things I did. It works now, though, so I'm not complaining. Until it breaks again.

but it got replaced by a (M) bamboo fun!

I highly recommend a bamboo fun. They're cheaper than the intuos4 (M) by like 300 bucks, and the only difference is the intuos4 has twice as much pressure sensitivity...but the bamboo is already has twice as many levels of pressure than the graphire3 had :P

Oooh, that'd be neat. Also, my tablet seems to be working right now >_>; I don't really know why, but I plugged it in yesterday and it wasn't acting up anymore. WEIRD.

I'll def. look into a Bamboo fun, though. I don't want to wake up everyday and hope that my tablet decides to not be a jerk.

that shot in "Mural" where he spins his desk chair away from the window back to his desk (really like 3 shots) is handled to perfectly...just feels magical and awesome! you've got a great sense for that

Thanks, those were totally my favorite shots too :D They gave me the least problems.
